Heading home again

Well the here we are packing up and once again heading to PA. This time the schedule is really screwed up. I am supposed to be in two places that are like 3-4 hours apart on the same day. What in the world? Guess I will be making up my own schedule this week and doing it a little smarter then who ever thought it out. I wish they would just let me look at the areas and map them out. I could do this better then them. The thing that really ticks me off is there were jobs in Erie, right near my parents. They gave those to someone else who is flying in. When I asked, they said they couldn't change them, which is total BS. This is like the 3 or 4th time they have completely screwed up and they still owe me over $3,000. This is not cool. Not cool at all.

There was a nice playground for the kids to play at. The spots were plenty big enough for us to spread out on. Friendly neighbors and campfires at night made our stay very enjoyable.

WiFi was provided by the city. You got a 5 hour coupon after answering a 3 question survey. You could do it as many times as needed. The speed was great and we used it on all of our computers and smart phones.

Level gravel pad. Dirt all around it under trees. Had a nice fire ring and picnic table. Only down side was grass couldn't grow under all the trees.

This is a great campground. Even though they do not have full hookup sites, they do offer a honey wagon service for $10. We used it once in our stay for a week and then used the dump station on our way out. Smaller families with bigger tanks would probably be fine. We would stay again.

Auburn, IN

Today we went up Auburn, IN.  They are the home of Duesenberg and they were having a huge car show and festivities.  We skipped the show because it cost to get in, but it looked awesome!  In stead we went to the flea market and the craft show.  It was like Apple Fest back home.  Auburn is a real pretty little town and we could probably live there.  Had the neighbors over again and we made elephant ears over the fire.  They turned out great for our first try.  Check out the pix and see all the neat out the town had and some of the other fun things we saw today.

Ft. Wayne, IN

Took a big long bike ride this morning. This campground is run by the city and has a nice park and bike trail running right through it. We about wore the kids out, but not quite. Then we went and watched some RC car and truck races. We had a bonfire and roasted hotdogs fit dinner. Invited the neighbors over and had a good time chatting. It was a good day.

Kentucky Zoo

We took the kids to the zoo and had a blast. It wasn't too hot or too cold. The zoo was nice, although part of it was under construction. We got to a see a big tiger up close. And I have never been that close to a giraffe before either. I was in awe. After the zoo we headed for Ft Wayne, IN for the next round of jobs.

Started school on Monday

Well we officially started school on Monday. The older two have been doing the review lesson through the summer just so they wouldn't "forget" how to do school. Monday was a bit rough with everyone whining and complaining. Tuesday was rough as well, but they got it done. Today went smoother with everyone being done shortly after lunch time. If we can keep them in a routine then I think things will go alright. Only problem is, moving so often might make a routine difficult. I am currently trying to find a more stable job for a while so we don't have to move every 4 days.

Hopefully we can find some work someplace warm once winter comes.
