4G booster antenna for my Sprint EVO

I am parked at a camp ground just outside of 4G coverage. Basically the trailer and the trees are blocking my signal. Which really stinks since there is no WIFI here and I pretty much live on the internet. 🙂

I came up with a way to boost my signal on my Sprint EVO so that I can have 4G and use my phone as a hotspot.

It’s a little redneck, but it works!

Wow. That is redneck. And it takes a lot for me to say that.

And I assume you’re also using bluetooth, in case you get a call? 🙂

Nope, blue tooth is broke. I just let it go to voicemail which is google voice and then call back on shellis phone. I could just fwd GV to her phone as well i guess.

Ha you call that redneck, one could call that innovation.

Believe me I live in Tennessee half the people here are not bright enough to even conciser the fact objects cause weakness in radio signal.

Believe me, I have run into that as well. I searched all over online and can’t find a booster for Sprints 4G signal. I may purchase a CDMA booster though. I have heard good things about the Wilson brand boosters. Sticking the phone up on a pole above the camper worked great though. I was able to get 4G and do all my work that way. I just used an extension cord up to it to keep it powered. Only problem was when someone would call me I couldn’t get it down fast enough to answer it. 🙂
