This year we spent Thanksgiving at Big Oak Ridge with our family. It was a nice chill environment. The kids got to play with their cousins and I got to hold my newest niece. It was pretty nice. I really didn't take any pix though.
I have been staying pretty local for work so not as much travel going on. Still put 36k miles on my truck already since January though.
I have been making a documentary series though if you are interested in watching that.
Well we've been busy with the new house and getting adjusted to being stationary again. I am trying to rebuild my business, but it's going slow. Work has been slow lately.
We have decided to put our camper up for sale. We are asking $30k for it. It books around $36k and we figure it has a couple grand of upgrades easy on it.
I have been doing a lot with the radio control stuff. I started a group for local RC enthusiasts at http://keystone-rc.com and I have been working with the local hobby shop and dirt track on some stuff (Big Dog RC).
Been enjoying reconnecting with old friends and playing with the kids.
We thank you all for your prayers and for continuing to follow our adventure.
I know I have not been keeping up with the posts on here. Much of my life lately doesn't feel like an adventure so it seems pointless to share.
Last night, however, we did something fun. The church we have been attending, Galloway United Methodist, put on a father daughter ball. The girls dressed up in fancy dresses, and I pulled out the most dressed up stuff I own. There was dancing, and desserts and makeup for the girls. We had a lot of fun and I think the girls really enjoyed being princesses. Course they always are, but sometimes its fun to dress and act like one.
Any contributions will be used to help us travel to disaster relief sites to help with clean up work or rebuilding. We are not a non-profit; donations are not tax deductible.
Thanks in advance, and God bless!
